Entry Form for Maggie's new contest available now

To download the entry form for Maggie's new contest, click on the picture on the right.

Over the holidays, give yourself some time to reminisce about your grandparents, and, for some of us, perhaps a chance to be with them. Whatever your circumstances, this is a great week to gather your thoughts about your contest submission.

Start to write down any ideas that come to mind. Add to the list as remember the sights, sounds, smells and feelings about your memories.

Take your time and over the next month, pick your favorite adventure. From that point on you will be on your way, and I will encourage you with more pointers over the next few months.

400 words or less! You are already on your way.

Tell us about your best adventure with your grandparents and win!*

Maggie shared her adventures with you, now it's your turn.

Tell us your best story or memory of your grandparents in 400 words or less. You can write about the house in which they lived, where you spent a beautiful vacation, or how your own garage brings back memories...it's entirely up to you!

Entries can be submitted in English, Spanish or German, just like Maggie's latest book.

Submit your story by July 31, 2010 and you could win a $100 American Express gift card and a copy of Maggie Visits Argentina.

Winners will be announced September 30, 2010. Contest open to all ages. Entry form will be posted on this site soon.

Join Maggie on her international adventure!

As her grandparents connect to their ancestral past, Maggie tries to make friends for the future as she travels to her first foreign destination, Argentina.

Maggie reads as much as possible before her trip yet when she arrives in Buenos Aires, she discovers language is just one of the many things she does not know about Latin America. It takes three languages...English, Spanish and German...to tell the story of exotic places, Argentine history and the friends Maggie meets on her exciting new journey.
